Crashdïet announce Midnight Danger member Chris Young as their new bassist for “next touring cycle”

Swedish rockers Crashdïet have a new temporary member! Following the announcement that Rest In Sleaze era bassist Peter London was taking a break from the band for its “next album cycle”, the remaining Crashdïet members — guitarist Martin Sweet, lead vocalist John Elliot and drummer Michael Sweet — have announced that London‘s replacement for the “next touring cycle” will be Midnight Danger and ex-Lipz bassist Chris Young.

Young had already filled in for London at Crashdïet‘s sold out Rest in Sleaze 20th Anniversary show at Debaser Strand in Stockholm, Sweden on September 19, 2025.

The following message was posted on Crashdïet‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“We are thrilled to introduce Chris Young — from Midnight Danger, ex-Lipz — as our new bassist for the next touring cycle, stepping in while Peter takes a break. Chris saved our asses for the last three shows and blended right in, seamlessly. He will be part of everything CRASHDÏET does moving forward — recordings, live shows, music videos, etc. The passion for music is what drives us — entertaining people and making them feel good — and Chris fits that spirit perfectly.

Exciting news continues — stay tuned for more announcements next week!”
