No Man’s Sky turns 10 years old and teases a new update called Cosmos

Can you believe it’s been a whole decade since No Man’s Sky first launched – and bombed over angry reviews and chargebacks and drama? Hello Games spent the last 10 years repairing that image, and for the bulk of those years, it’s been a much-beloved game in the multiplayer MMO-esque space and really the mainstream space too, for that matter. It’s even won multiple awards right here on MOP.

“On August 9th 2016 the first Travellers set foot on their first planet in No Man’s Sky,” the team writes today. “10 years on and over 40 major (free) updates later, and the universe is more bustling and vibrant than ever.”

The studio is celebrating with a trailer trekking through the major updates… and ending with a tease for the next release, which is apparently called Cosmos. Of course, we might have also liked a tease for Light No Fire, but we’ll take this one too… for now.
