Scholastic Announces Five More Tezuka Titles

Following on the success of Unico Awakening, Scholastic and Tezuka Productions have announced that five more children’s manga series by Osamu Tezuka will be reimagined and published by Graphix.

Samuel Sattin, author of the Unico reworking with art by Gurihiru, will also be the writer for new versions of

• Princess Knight
• Triton of the Sea
• Three Eyed One
• Zero Men
• and Atom Cat/Astro Cat

No artists for these new versions have been announced. Princess Knight has been released in English in an omnibus from Kodansha, but none of the others are currently available in English.

Unico Awakening has three volumes out so far and will run to eight volumes, which will complete the story arc Tezuka left unfinished.
