As someone who identifies as a “low-energy person,” I’ve learned to acknowledge my limits. After social outings, I often experience a crash, which has taught me to prioritize self-care and plan accordingly.
Despite being an introvert, I’m deeply passionate about people and relationships. However, I’ve discovered that nurturing this passion requires regular rest, solitude, and quiet time with God, allowing me to recharge and cultivate a deeper connection with others.
Whilst reading the book of Acts, I felt an unexpected surge of energy and joy. This phenomenon was explained by Colossians 1:29, where Paul writes: “For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that He powerfully works within me.” I realized that the Holy Spirit energizes us for the work He gives us to do, fueling our growth in Christ and our mission to love and encourage others.
This newfound understanding prompts me to re-evaluate my self-perception and consider the potential for meaningful work in areas that typically drain my energy. I’m inspired to set my sights higher and recognize that every aspect of life presents opportunities to live out my faith. Even in the most mundane and unglamorous situations, I can choose to obey God, cultivate love, joy, peace, patience, and other fruits of the Spirit that bring life to myself and those around me.
Father, I pray that I may rely fully on You, trusting You to work through me and grant me rest. Amen. God bless.

Blessings and love…
