Can Sausage Cheese Balls Be Made Ahead Of Time?

Yes, they sure can! Make according to the recipe, then place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 2 days.

You can also freeze sausage balls. Shape the batter into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze the baking sheet for at least 1 hour, or until the sausage balls are frozen solid. Transfer the frozen sausage balls to a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze for up to 6 weeks.
