Discover How to Know Jesus for Real

You can feel it, can’t you? That holy spark in your chest that refuses to settle for a lukewarm, half‑lived faith. This is where the real thing begins, where Jesus stops being a concept you nod at and becomes the fire that rearranges your insides.

When we decide to know Him for real, fire‑level, everything shifts. The masks drop. The pretending dies. And suddenly we’re standing in the kind of presence that doesn’t just warm us; it ignites us.

Imagine scrolling through a social media feed rather than having a heart-to-heart over coffee. We often just swipe through our faith, catching glimpses of God’s goodness as we do with snippets of our friends’ lives online. But here’s the invitation: Jesus says, “Put the phone down and come sit with me!” That is the invitation. Not performance. No pressure. Just presence.

Deepening our connection with Him is not about cranking up our spiritual effort. It is diving into the deep end instead of toe-dipping in the shallow. His arms are open wide, ready for real, soulful connection where we can be fully ourselves without filters or pretenses.

No small talk. No pretending. Just genuine connection. We will run into His arms and discover the depths of His love together.

🩵 Ready for a Swim?

Many Christians get caught in a spiritual tug-of-war, bouncing like a ping-pong ball between two pressure points. One says Belief: Just Try Harder. The other says Faith: Be Holier. Meanwhile, some of us are inches from spiritual burnout. It feels like juggling flaming swords on a unicycle. Not exactly peaceful.

But here is the truth. Jesus is not standing at either of the exhausting stations. He is out front, waving us over with a grin, inviting us to dive into the deep end where real connection replaces the exhausting race to earn His love. Let’s drop the juggling act and swim toward something real.

🩵 Vision: The Two Pillars

In a spiritual vision, I was shown two pillars standing before me like spiritual monuments. One was etched with the word Faith. The other was titled Belief. Then the Holy Spirit spoke:

“These two pillars represent their respective levels of spiritual growth. One keeps a person limited to a surface belief, and the other keeps a person from growing beyond their faith. This continues within the churches today.”

It was a divine showdown. Heaven is asking us straight up: Are we scrolling through comfort, or are we all in, hearts ablaze, running after Jesus like it is the adventure of our lives?

🩵 From Belief to Knowing

Belief and faith matter, but they are not the finish line. Jesus is calling us into something deeper, richer, more alive. Then He whispered to me.

“To know Me is to love Me with all your heart. No longer a physical effort to walk by faith. Belief and faith have their place and purpose, but when you step past them, they are no longer required, for they have been replaced with knowing Me.”

We start with belief, like the first sip of coffee on a Monday morning. Just enough to wake us up. Then faith steps in and pushes us forward, like that friend who drags us to the gym. But knowing? That is the upgrade. It is switching from a flip phone to the latest smartphone. Everything changes.

Suddenly trust is not a tug of war. It becomes our normal. We drop the hustle for spiritual likes and settle into His strength. Life shifts from a chaotic race to a peaceful stroll, hand in hand with the Divine.

🩵 Expect Resistance

When the Spirit leads us beyond the pillars into knowing Jesus, people notice. And not everyone applauds.

“He who was born of the flesh persecuted him who was born of the Spirit, even so it is now.” – Galatians 4:29

Going deeper with Jesus can feel like jumping off the high dive for the first time. There is always a moment of hesitation. But do not backtrack. You have a VIP pass to the Bridegroom. Faith says He is waiting for you. Knowing means walking with Him, hand in hand.

Faith is the spark in your engine. Knowing is the sweet spot. Jesus is not looking for half-hearted fans. He is calling those who tune in to His frequency and walk with Him.

🩵 Let’s Be Real

Getting to know Jesus can feel uncomfortable. Faith lets us put on a good show. Knowing Him requires surrender. It shakes up our routines, exposes the idols we cling to, and disrupts the religious structures that feel safe with belief but panic in the light of His presence

When we stop trying to impress and start enjoying Him, everything changes. Obedience becomes natural, like the glow after worship. Not guilt. Love. We’ll move past the “Is He here?” phase because His presence becomes home. His whispers become our compass.

In which area of your life has Jesus asked for true surrender, yet you still pretend you have fully surrendered? Deep down, you know you are in the shallow end, while He is calling you into the deeper waters.
