As a result, Nepal qualified into the quarterfinals after securing 3 points, whereas Japan has been eliminated from the tournament. Afghanistan finished second in Group A and will play against India on September 28th. In the match between Nepal and Japan, Nepal batted first and managed to score 149 runs by losing 4 wickets in 15 overs. After the match got washed out, the opponent of India has also been finalized. India will face Afghanistan in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
