Fun stand alone sequel. When it ended, I thought I had gotten a copy with some missing pages. Kids will no doubt enjoy the story and illustrations.

The Gate, the Girl, and the Dragon by Grace Lin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I was excited to have a new Grace Lin novel to read and I ended up, once again, as usual, enthralled by her storytelling style. This is her first fantasy set in modern times but still has a classic feel to it, especially the stories within stories elements she’s known for. It was slow going at first and sort of predictable but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
On Again, Awkward Again by Erin Entrada Kelly
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this young adult novel suitable for tweens as well. I found myself laughing out loud at multiple parts. I did find the ending a bit rushed and forced.
How to Fight by Thich Nhat Hanh
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is the fifth title I read part of the Mindfulness Essentials series. I was getting a bit bored by the format but this had some more in-depth sections that I appreciated.
