Comparison of Breeds
There are distinct differences between both of them and both German Shepherds and Rottweilers are not recommended for first-time owners. German Shepherds are working dogs that need much more training compared to other breeds. They can become harmful if they are not properly exercised.

These are the differences between the German Shepherds and Rottweilers. In my opinion, both are good breeds for family and for safety. But you need to take care of the 1st time because they could be dangerous but once they get socialized they become friendly.
