Suicidal ideation and babesia/bartonella – Beyond Meds: Alternatives to Psychiatry

I’m tired of screaming what I know into the void. Sadly some of what I say doesn’t have proof and people like to believe that medicine and science actually know more than they do.

I know this stuff from my body’s wisdom. Anyway, the proof is emerging and anyone who’s interested can see what I’ve already written about Tardive dyskinesia and Lyme disease because I also believe the two are linked.

As I’ve been saying:

Postmortem evidence of Babesia and Bartonella infections in chronically ill suicidal young people (pubmed study link)

Vector-borne diseases represent an emerging global threat to public health, yet the potential role of flea and tick-borne pathogens as a cause or cofactor in neuropsychiatric illnesses and suicidal ideation remains relatively uninvestigated. Co-infections with vector-borne Babesia and Bartonella spp., as well as infection with more than one Babesia species, may represent a more important cause of neurological and neuropsychiatric illnesses than is currently appreciated. – Babesia and Bartonella infections

A more detailed analysis with case histories are here: (people with presentations labled schizophrenic and bipolar were included)

My writings on the subject

I want to once again, before sending you off to look at other links, reiterate that Lyme disease much like psychiatric diagnosis is a catch-all term for multiple systemic infections. It’s meaningless until we start looking at how the endless variety of microbiome manifestations affect people in uniquely individual ways. That is still not being considered enough in “Lyme” circles. People injured by psychiatry don’t fare all that well in Lyme circles because we have unique and often far more complex presentations.

It is a distraction and I’m sorry that it’s the word that must be used to get any traction. I will write more if and when people are interested. I don’t have an audience for this material. Nonetheless I continue accumulating a lot of knowledge that could be helpful to many once the time is right.

The psych drugs really make this stuff all much worse if we’re impacted.

Let me know if you’re interested. I’ve been waiting and want to participate in a much fuller way once folks are ready to have the conversations.
