Tata Tigor Facelift May Be Renamed Tata Aeris: New Design, Features, Engine and Expected Launch
Apart from having design modifications, the name may also be changed in the upcoming compact sedan of TATA. According to media reports, the current model name known as Tigor Facelift may be changed to Tata Aeris which will replace the Tigor in the lineup.
Moving on, the name TATA AERIS has been filed in the trademark document for motor vehicles and parts. Although this shows that the automaker has some interest in the name, there has been no confirmation from their side officially.
The automaker, TATA, is all set to make a lot of changes in its compact sedan. Patents design images unveiled in June showed the thinner headlamps, glossy black connected element and a simpler front face. The bumper has been given sharper lines along with the bigger air dam that is vertically and horizontally aligned.
Moreover, new wheels, modified rear lamps and a new bumper are also expected in addition to the unchanged basic shape of the sedan.
