Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Launch Date Confirmed: 4,500-Nit Display, 6,500mAh Battery and More
Tecno is set to unveil yet another 5G device in India that comes in the POVA smartphones range. The new device by the company is going to be made available to the Indian market as the Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G. The device is scheduled to be unveiled on August 18th and is going to become the premium offering in the range after the recent POVA 8 that came out in June. What makes the new device special is its distinct display located on its back side.
The newly unveiled Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G will come with a unique Alive Matrix Display technology that will make the back side of the phone a live visual screen. The new device is going to come with custom lighting effects and dynamic notifications, where notifications can be seen even from the back side of the phone when it lies on a table upside down.
According to the specifications, the display of the device will feature 6.78-inch HyperLux AMOLED screen size along with 144 Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness up to 4,500 nits. It will support 1.07 billion colors and 93.18 percent screen-to-body ratio.
For performance, the phone is expected to be powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, coupled with an octa-core CPU and an Arm Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The device is expected to be offered in 8GB and 12GB RAM options. Storage options range from 256GB to 512GB.
