Being a woman means, having to take longer routes to your destination simply because you are trying to avoid a man that disturbs you on the street.
Being a woman means, looking back while you walk down the street several times because you feel scared someone might be following you.
Being a woman means, not being able to dress comfortably because you do not want to attract too much attention.
Being a woman means, being fully clothed and still getting raped or molested.
Being a woman means, walking instead of taking the bus because it is filled with men.
Being a woman means, having your worth as a human reduced your looks and how well you take care of your home.
Being a woman means, putting the goals of your husband first simply because you want to make him happy.
Being a woman means, giving excuses for a bad husband or boyfriend.
Being a woman means, having an unfaithful lover means you did something wrong.
Being a woman means, keeping quiet about your assaults because you do not want to be shamed.
Being a woman means, having to work twice as hard to prove yourself in your place of work but not still get recognized.
Being a woman means, being slapped or beaten to death because you refuse the attention of a man.
Being a woman means, putting up a smile even when you are sad simply because you do not want to be judged.
Being a woman means, getting raped, molested, murdered and still get blamed for it.
Being a woman means, getting raped and assaulted by the people meant to protect you.
Being a woman means, being called manipulative even when all you want is a simple conversation.
Being a woman means, you are labeled the angry woman when you say what you do not like.

Being a woman means, not having a child after 2 years of marriage means you are to blame.
Being a woman means, getting raped by your husband is okay simply because he is your HUSBAND.
Being a woman means, letting men explain to you what it is like to be a woman.

As women we will constantly fight against all this because WE JUST WANT TO LIVE.
