Best Time to Visit

The best time to hike Mt. Manunggal is during the dry season from December to May, when the trail is easier to navigate and the mountain views are clearer. Early morning hikes are highly recommended because of the cooler weather and the chance to witness clouds rolling across the surrounding peaks. Afternoon rain is common during the wet season, so checking the weather forecast before your trip is advisable.

Travel Tips Before Your Hike

Wear comfortable hiking shoes with good traction since some parts of the trail can become muddy after rain. Bring enough drinking water, snacks, and a light jacket because temperatures at higher elevations are cooler than in Cebu City. As always, respect the mountain by following designated trails, avoiding littering, and helping preserve the peaceful environment for future visitors.
