As I write this I’m quite sick. I think it is just a challenging moment. Hopefully a moment and not a long period of time.
A bit of a round up since my Christmas Corona post. After the new year we took the Eurostar train to London and had a fabulous time. Flora was so excited to see Harry Potter’s platform 9 3/4. It was great to see how excited she got. London was beautiful. The kids noticed how friendly everyone was. We met up with Antoinette at the Tate Modern. Thibault was happy to ride the double decker buses and the Tube. I finally saw Wicked and Flora fell in love with Wagamama.
Mom is now cancer free! What a relief. She came over for her annual spring time visit. We went to Friesland for a week with her and stayed at a Landal park that I always wanted to stay at. Probably the best day of the entire year was biking around Schiermonikoog with mom and the family. It was so beautiful. The beach was huge and vast. The sun was shining. The island was calm and peaceful. I will never forget how much fun that day was.
We just came back from our camping trip and I am not going to lie. I’m struggling. Have been diagnosed with BPPD. It sucks. Also have a migraine (unrelated), but due to neck and shoulder tension. Lovely.
Camping was great, even though it was in the rain. I’m happy it’s over.
Kids are active and wild. Not sure what we are going to do about that. I love them to death. Sometimes they can be so cute and loving. Other times—completely feral. It’s a tough balance.
