What’s this—an actual NEW song being featured on Music Monday?! *gasp*
Now there’s something you probably thought you’d never see here, right? LOL
I stumbled across this song one night when I was scrolling through Facebook reels. It was a short clip—maybe 20 seconds long—but as soon as I heard the opening line to the first verse? I got goosebumps, my jaw hit the floor, and all I could think was holy shit, this guy is GOOD!
I played that clip over and over again before I realized I could probably hear the whole song on YouTube. So I went looking, and found it. The full song is so much better than I expected it to be, and my expectations were pretty damned high.
I’ll be ordering a copy of Byrne’s debut CD (This Is Where The Show Begins) soon… and I have no doubt it’s going to be a great listen!
