DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small found themselves under fire in the latest episode of the Piano Pulse podcast, part of Mac G’s Podcast and Chill network.
During the episode, the hosts criticized the Amapiano giants, claiming they haven’t contributed to their communities despite their financial success.
The podcasters suggested that the duo should invest in projects that uplift the people who support their music.

However, fans quickly came to their defense.
One person argued, “What if they do and just don’t publicize it? Charity isn’t about announcing your good deeds or staging photo ops.”
Another countered, “Artists who gain support from the community should give back. It’s not mandatory, but it’s a way to show love and appreciation.”
A third fan dismissed the criticism, saying, “They’re busy millionaires… Speak properly when talking about Phori and Kabza.”
