Nobori Sake : Background
I was in Nara for a day out, trying to find some places to drink craft beer after spending time with the deers. However, after a failed attempt at getting to Nara Brewing Company and Choryo Craft Beer, Nobori Sake came up. However, like everywhere other place in Nara, it was closed for the first weekend after New Year’s
However, they also have an online portal, which meant a quick order was done on the phone for some cold beers to be delivered a few days later. The selection at Nobori Sake was from mostly the Kansai area, with Nara Brewing Company, Farmentry, Golden Rabbit, Himitsu Beer, and Kyoto Brewing Company to name but a few.
The website does look like a relic from the 1990s, with it being self designed; however, it’s quirkiness is also quite fun to use as someone has gone to the painstaking effort with uploading images for each bottle or can of beer as a link.
