Breakthru Promotes Sladek To Lead $500M California Business
Breakthru Beverage Group has promoted John Sladek to executive vice president, California. The new EVP has more than two decades of industry experience, beginning with Glazer’s Distributors and Gallo, where Sladek ultimately managed that company’s west and midwest regions. He joined Breakthru in 2018 and most recently served as vice president of sales, Northern California.
Breakthru operates in 16 markets across the U.S. and has projected 2025 revenue of $8.5 billion, according to Shanken’s Impact Newsletter. Its California business is projected at nearly $500 million this year. Last week, it announced it’s adding Riboli Family Wines to its supplier roster in the Golden State.—Shane English
