

HUAWEI recently unveiled its new 2-in-1 tablet in China, the HUAWEI MatePad Edge.
The HUAWEI MatePad Edge sports a 14.2-inch OLED panel with 3.1K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 94% screen-to-body ratio, and 1000 nits peak brightness.
The device has a thickness of 6.85mm and weighs 780 grams. It also incorporates a 6-series aviation aluminum one-piece body for durability.
Under the hood, it is powered by either the Kirin X90 or Kirin X90A processor, paired with up to 32GB RAM and up to 2TB internal storage. It packs a massive 12,900mAh battery capacity with 140W Super Fast Charging support. HUAWEI claims it can charge the tablet in around 60 minutes.
Handling the heat is an ultra-thin 3.6mm dual-drive fan and a two-phase module VC. It also has a compact motherboard stacking design and an ultra-thin 0.335mm micro-pump liquid cooling film.

For optics, the MatePad Edge is equipped with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP macro lens at the back, while a 32MP selfie camera is at the front.
The tablet runs on HarmonyOS 5, which is optimized to switch between tablet and PC modes with a single gesture. The PC mode supports full desktop applications. The keyboard accessory has 1.8mm key travel and a Free Touch pressure touchpad, up to 175-degree adjustable angle, and 28mm suspension height. Users can also use a Huawei M-Pencil Pro stylus.
Connectivity features include 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN bands and Bluetooth 5.2.
It also has 6 stereo speakers and a fingerprint scanner. Available colors are: Space Gray and Moonlight Silver.
