Cream Cheese Sausage Balls: The Perfect Party Food

I’m not sure if you can have a Thanksgiving or Christmas party without sausage balls on the appetizer menu. But come on now, nobody wants to wait until the holidays to dig into one of life’s perfect little bites. I consider sausage balls a year-round recipe.
For game day and movie night, we’ve got to have’em. They are a must when I go to a covered dish supper or potluck. And we love them as a light breakfast or snack. So, here’s the story…these really are THE BEST sausage balls, and I guarantee they will disappear in minutes when served!
XO,

Can Sausage Cheese Balls Be Made Ahead Of Time?
Yes, they sure can! Make according to the recipe, then place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
You can also freeze sausage balls. Shape the batter into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze the baking sheet for at least 1 hour, or until the sausage balls are frozen solid. Transfer the frozen sausage balls to a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze for up to 6 weeks.
