I loved book 1 so I couldn’t wait to revisit these characters.

A vampire and a ghost being friends is unheard of. It makes no sense. The two factions have despised one another for all eternity. But . . . This is the perfect sequel to the fantastic Rules for Vampires.

The book continues where the first one left off, so the characters have no time to come to terms with the ending of book 1 ( you really need to read it)

There is more about Minna this time as she is coming more into her powers. 

Again Leo is the star of the book.

And we are introduced to a new villain.

This has an interesting concept to the book, a vampire and ghost who are able to be friends, and it leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

Children who love anything gruesome will love this.

Time Travel Is NOT My Superpower

I can clearly remember reading ” Solving crimes is not my superpower” and loving it and hoping there was going to be more from the author.

So I was delighted when this book dropped through my door and again I love every second of it.

Sara has been practising her new teleport powers and she’s getting pretty good! Except when she accidentally transports herself and her best friends (Georgie and Javier) and her nemesis (Jock) back in time… They’re warned not to interact with ANYONE, to make sure they don’t change anything in the future, but that becomes difficult when they’re dragged into a birthday party. They get out as quickly as they can, although not before causing some minor chaos. But how much damage can a squashed cake really do?!? (As it turns out, a LOT.) 

Everything about the book was so funny, and the addition of the illustrations makes it a fun book to read.

The mad capped characters were as good as ever, and we went on a fast paced adventure, this is perfect for those children who have just left picture books behind and want to read a chapter book.

The Midnight Sweet Factory: A Wanderdays Adventure

Having read book 1 in The Wanderday series I was interested to see where book 2 was going to take the characters,

This is another action packed adventure, and everything you would expect from Clare Povey.

This book is full of friendship, trust and believing in yourself.

These are likable characters that are believable.

I hope there is more to come from this series.
