Condé Nast Swaps Stages for Suppers at Its 2025 NewFront

Video is core, but brand quality is the differentiator

While Condé Nast is stepping back from a traditional sizzle-reel-style presentation, video remains central to its business.

Herbst-Brady, who joined Condé Nast in September, framed the brand-safe, premium nature of the company’s video content as what differentiates it from its NewFronts peers. The company generated 28 billion video views in 2024 across longform, shortform, and film, according to Herbst-Brady.

The publisher has also made inroads in building up other key lines of business, including its growing events slate and affiliate business.

This year, Condé Nast will host events including Vogue World in Los Angeles, GQ’s Men of the Year Award and Allure’s Best of Beauty. On the commerce side, Condé Nast drove $600 million in product sales last year via editorial content.

As part of the broader evolution of its ad product suite, the company is prioritizing ease-of-use and expanding contextual targeting capabilities to better position its ad business for future shifts in the privacy landscape.

“There’s never been a better time for Condé Nast,” said Herbst-Brady. “The flight to quality we’re seeing in the marketplace is real, and we’re positioned to meet it—whether it’s branded content, commerce, or performance advertising.”
