Airspace restrictions soften after India-Pakistan ceasefire

Airspace restrictions put in place by Pakistan and Indian governments have begun to soften following a ceasefire in hostilities over the weekend.

On May 10, 2025, Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) announced that its airspace has been “fully restored for all types of flights”, therefore cancelling a previous Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) that it would remain closed until 12:00, local time, on May 11, 2025.

“All airports across the country are operational and available for normal flight operations. Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines for updated flight schedules,” said PAA.
