Olivia Prado‘s brand of pop R&B is bubbly and melody-driven. With the Los Angeles singer and dancer set to release an EP called Dirty In The Sand on August 26th, new and returning listeners can expect to be properly served.
“Up n Down” is the most recent release from Olivia. Reminiscent of the early-to-mid 2000’s period, the upbeat and nostalgic song finds the artist flexing her vocal range.
“This song was inspired by movement, dance, and groove,” Prado says. “I actually wrote it while dancing around my apartment. I wanted to create something that makes you feel confident and empowered without trying too hard. To me, it feels cool, stylish, and unapologetically feminine.”
