The Plaza Premium Group took over the former Emirates lounge space at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and opened a brand new Plaza Premium and First Class lounge on September 1, 2026.
The Emirates lounge is now in the satellite terminal from where their flights depart. I visited the Plaza Premium lounge on September 12 on my way from Bangkok to Singapore (and stopped first at the EVA lounge to grab a slice of pizza and ice cream bar).

The signage at the airport was not updated yet to show the location of the Plaza Premium lounge.
I usually tend to take the escalator down to the D gates where it is easy to access various lounges.
Some of the displays still identified the new Plaza Premium as Emirates lounge.
Here was decisition time, as the Singapore and Thai Airways (main lounge) would be behind me, while the EVA lounge that I like is in the F-gate area.
The Plaza Premium lounge is pretty much to the exact opposite of the Cathay Pacific lounge.

There appears to be 20% discount if you enter first class side using Amex Platinum.
The lounge has several lounge and credit card partners.
The only airline that had signed a deal with this Plaza Premium lounge was Etihad.

There was also this separate area in the back of the lounge that was roped off.

Conclusion
Plaza Premium is the most convenient for flights leaving from the G-gates, and it’s also not that far from E and F.
The lounge itself reminded me a bit of the Cathay Pacific lounge a few meters away.
I would say that this is a modern lounge, and one of the better ones to enter using these lounge passes or credit cards. I used an Amex Platinum card for entry.
The hot food options could have been better in the morning, but they were adequate enough.
Bangkok has many lounge options, depending on your airline & alliance, cabin flown, and status. I don’t mind doing a mini lounge crawl if I have time.
