The first season of The Rising of the Shield Hero is now available to stream on Disney+ in both dubbed and subbed format in the UK.
The Rising of the Shield Hero: Geeky university student Naofumi Iwatani goes from second-class citizen to second-class hero when he’s summoned to the videogame-like kingdom of Melromarc. Known as the weakest of four heroes, the Shield Hero, he’s tasked with defending the world from calamity. But when Naofumi ends up betrayed and belittled from the start, will this hero-turned-cynic still be willing to fight?
The Rising of the Shield Hero can also be streamed on Netflix and Crunchyroll, with Crunchyroll also having every episode currently available to stream in dubbed and subbed format. The series has also been released on Blu-Ray and DVD in the UK, with the four season due on Blu-Ray later this year from Crunchyroll.
