39! That is the total number of Psalms we have studied together during this Summer in the Psalms!
From the 15 Psalms of Ascents we walked through in July to the 24 daily prayers we studied throughout August, I hope you have truly let the Word W.O.R.K.(S.) in your heart and mind this season.
We have officially arrived at the final 3 days of our ETW study, Prayers From the Psalms. And our final focus gives us a special sneak peek into next year’s Summer in the Psalms—where our entire focus will be Jesus and the Psalms!
In these last few days, we get to peek into how Jesus Himself prayed the Psalms (He sang them, too!). We also get to see how the Psalms were prophetic in nature, constantly pointing the reader forward to the true King, Jesus.
As Jesus Himself reminded His disciples:
These are My words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled. Luke 24:44

As we turn the page into next month, our focus shifts to a journey of restoration and wholeness.
September’s ETW study will be He Restores My Soul: 30 Days with Jehovah Rapha. Together, we will spend 30 days focusing on the God who heals, restores, and makes us whole. Be on the lookout for your new guide coming soon!
A Final Prayer for You
As we wrap up this summer journey, my prayer for you is that you continue to pray:
- With the honesty of the psalmists,
- With the humility of those who seek forgiveness,
- With the gratitude of those who remember God’s benefits, and
- With the confidence of those who know that their Father hears them.
