Last week KATE COSGROVE and I were treated to a review of the new e-book translation of our book, A Tree is a Community, into South Korean. It’s animated! I don’t understand the reader’s voice, of course, but it’s charming, and I was mesmerized by the way various pictures on each page actually move, flutter, crawl, and change in other ways. Kate and I begged for permission to share at least some part of it on our social media. If we receive the okay, I’ll post it here. I don’t have a picture of the cover so I’m posting the English version again.
A Tree continues to do well. It came out in October, 2024 and still ranks well on Amazon. It received a starred Kirkus review, was chosen for the Bank Street College Best Books list in 2024, and is also out in a Portuguese translation.
