I knew nothing about Glasgow Boys before I read it. It was promoted on the library’s overdrive website as part of a global book-club, Together We Read that I usually take part in. I borrowed it without even reading the blurb. I loved this book. I was a sobbing wreck by the time I read the final chapter. It’s a riveting, life affirming book about queer identity, friendship, love and growing up in care. I’d recommend it.
