Gears of War: E-Day system requirements require ray tracing-capable graphics card to play, alongside 115 GB of free space on an SSD

Gears of War: E-Day is set to launch on October 6, though there’s early access available before then. In the lead up to launch, The Coalition has posted expanded system requirements for the upcoming bug blast. These include what the game asks of your rig for top performance on the top settings—it’s not easygoing, to say the least—but providing your GPU is at least capable of ray tracing, most should get by fine on medium settings.

An RTX 5070 Ti or RX 7900 XT will be required in order to run the game at 4K with the Ultra preset enabled. This is targeting a steady 60 fps, and I would assume, from the 12 GB of VRAM noted in the table below, that one should be able to swing it on a lower-end card with some assistance from upscaling.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
