Fast-forwarding to the Upper Tower, there is a spirit who gives you a Crane Sketch that can lead you to the guardian for the key. Although it seems simple, getting to the top of the tower to face the guardian boss can be tricky. In this guide, we will explain how to solve the Carpenter’s Crane Sketch puzzle in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse.

How to Solve Carpenter’s Crane Sketch Puzzle in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

You get the Carpenter’s Crane Sketch from a spirit located on the western side of the Upper Tower in Paris Streets. It is pretty hard to miss the spirit. To get to the spirit, you need to go along the traps on the left side and drop into the room. Once you get the Crane Sketch from the Spirit, it will mention a mechanism to reach the top of the tower.

Drop down from the Spirit’s platform and go to the right. Use the grapple on the yellow anchor to swing above. If you look up, there is another yellow anchor. Swing on this yellow anchor a few times until the chain breaks and opens the door.

Jump and use the grapple on the yellow anchor to swing right and then left. If you hear a click, this means the hatch door on the left is open. You can swing using the same anchor to reach the hatch on the left.

Once you are on this level, head through the door, and then you can make your way to the top of the tower to face the Warrior for one of the keys to the Catacombs.
