HUAWEI has opened pre-orders for the upcoming Mate XT 2 tri-fold smartphone in China.
The device will be available in Dark Black, Pure White, and Purple with a marble-like pattern. Listed configurations include 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB.
HUAWEI is also listing special 16GB + 1TB and 16GB + 2TB versions with a Privacy Screen feature, confirming earlier reports that the phone could include display privacy technology.
It remains unclear whether the Privacy Screen feature will be available on the main folding display or the external cover screen.
HUAWEI also confirmed that the Mate XT 2 will be officially unveiled alongside HarmonyOS 7 on September 7, 2026, at 2:30 PM in China.
HUAWEI Mate XT 2 Launch
In the Philippines, HUAWEI launched its predecessor, the HUAWEI Mate XT ULTIMATE DESIGN, in February 2025, priced at PHP 199,999.
However,HUAWEI has yet to announce whether the new Mate XT 2 will also be available in the Philippines.
