I saw this story just now at Politico and other places:
Democratic advisers are warning their candidates not to go too hard at AI
Democratic consultants are warning their candidates in some key races not to lean into AI regulations out of fear that powerful tech groups could spend heavily against them.
When did “democratic advisors” become a dirty word?
Why do I not find that reassuring?
And then there’s this one:
Republicans Are in a Midterm Bind. An Avalanche of Cash Could Move the Needle.
And this one:
Republican ‘cavalry’ arrives with a Trump-backed $150 million ad blitz in key races
On the good news front, there’s this:
Roy Cooper’s lead grows to 15 points in NC Senate race
Fear and loathing in Trump’s Miami backyard over immigration crackdown
Florida has broken our hearts many times, but maybe this is the year?
Imagine winning!
I can just hear the jokes. Trump’s so bad, he even managed to lose Florida. Trump’s so bad, he even managed to lose Texas.
I don’t know which Senate seats we’ll win and which we’ll lose – I think there are definitely going to be some surprises this year!
*all of the above are links from Memorandum which is what I peek at when I don’t have time to read all the substacks etc.
