While a lot of the tech shown off at IFA 2026 is certain to have style as well as function, some pieces go above and beyond for their aesthetic. This certainly seems to be TECNO’s philosophy after partnering with an iconic sports car for their newest phone.
Taking to the IFA 2026 show floor, the AI-driven innovative technology brand TECNO debuted its POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition. The design philosophy behind the device was to merge both the style and power of the design of the iconic Italian vehicle manufacturer for those who are “driven by an unwavering passion for performance, uncompromising style and design excellence.”

The POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition is designed as an all-around high-performance device wrapped in a distinctive design. Powered by a dual-chipset architecture utilizing the 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G platform and a P1 Graphic Chip developed by TECNO. This allows the device to effortlessly handle large games and multitasking, while the P1 Graphic Chip offloads GPU rendering to deliver up to 144FPS and manages 1.5K resolution in supported titles. All this while keeping the unit cool even in high-temperature locations through the 5K IceShield VC Cooling System.
What really sets the POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition apart is its look. Combining a black-and-red palette with a hexagon pattern, punctuated by the Pulse Line—the arresting visual focal point, “inspired by mechanical precision and the flow of kinetic energy.” A dual-layer stacking process gives the back panel a distinct reflective quality that plays with light and colour “as if raw energy flushes across the surface of the phone.” Between the two layers, a physical height difference creates genuine spatial depth, recreating the layered geometry found in mechanical designs.

“Too often, phone makers choose the ‘safest option’ even at the loss of individuality,” said general manager of TECNO Jack Guo. “Meanwhile, TECNO is known to choose the road less taken with highly distinguishable designs and functions, revolutionizing the digital experiences of hundreds of millions.” Guo added, “The launch of TECNO POVA 8 Pro Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition represents a defining moment for TECNO. With this model, we create not only a new product but a journey throughout the design, the interface, the configurations and even AI.”
But it isn’t just the device itself that’s backed by serious power. The POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition features Sony’s LYTIA 700C OIS main camera built around a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The unit also supports 2× lossless zoom and a dedicated 50MP high-pixel mode. In addition, it includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera for capturing expansive landscapes and group shots, and a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls. All this comes to life on a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz HyperLux AMOLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate to balance performance and battery life.

In addition to the POVA 8 PRO 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, TECNO is launching the Tonino Lamborghini TAURUS (MEGA MINI G1 Pro), which features a sleek, all-metal body accented by RGB lights and inspired by the Tonino Lamborghini design and colouring. The unit is powered by an Intel Core i9-13900HK processor, boasting an impressive 14 cores and 20 threads, with a clock speed reaching up to 5.4 GHz. This is enhanced by the newly upgraded NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 discrete graphics card, capable of 145W of total graphics power.
This all fits into TECNO’s entire Tonino Lamborghini AIoT ecosystem, which will include laptops, tablets and wearables. Inspired by the iconic aesthetics of Tonino Lamborghini. This already includes the TECNO POVA Metal Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition and the TECNO MEGAPAD 2 tablet—both featuring unique design aesthetics inspired by the iconic sports car brand. More information on these products can be found on TECNO’s official website.

TECNO also debuted a host of new products at IFA 2026, including the MEGABOOK T15 360 Series and their Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone. The MEGABOOK T15 is an impressive piece of hardware, featuring the Intel Meteor Lake processor (ranging from Ultra5-125H, Ultra7-155H, and Ultra9-185H), Dual SSD Connect behind a 2560×1440, 120Hz QHD screen.
The Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone is meant to be the real showstopper, though. The first device to achieve a true 0mm display border, this phone completely removes the physical black edges of the screen and sets a new design benchmark for future smartphones. According to TECNO, “the core technologies developed for this concept pave the way for future flagship innovations, bringing new possibilities to TECNO’s upcoming device generations.”
