And leaders are well aware of this reality, which is why so many organizations have implemented measures like no-meeting Fridays, limiting meeting lengths, even the number of people who can attend.

And yet, despite all these efforts, meetings continue to fill up the workdays while the actual work that needs to get done draws to a standstill.
