Shell Suit Dreams is a session IPA from English brewery By The Horns Brewing Co. I was first introduced to it in 2016, at a “beer hangout”. This particular beer wasn’t in the lineup at the time, but overall, I liked all of the beers except for the Hopslinger Black IPA. It was spoiled.
For those too lazy to follow the link and read what I wrote there eight years ago, I’ll briefly remind you of the brewery’s history. The Horns opened in 2011. Founded by Alex Bull and Chris Mills. Originally located in Summerstown, London. The brewery had a taproom and a convenience store. Later moved to Salfords due to expansion. Now it is still a small brewery, judging from the photos, with a brewhouse for a ton or two.
Shell Suit Dreams (UK, London) – The fragrance is bright, and more floral. You can smell it immediately after opening it. The flavor is light, but not watery. Flowers prevail in the aftertaste and citrus is added to it. A little tart. Very drinkable and refreshing. Rated “A-“.
