Mississippi Meatballs – $5 Dinners

Mississippi Meatballs on a Budget: Big Flavor Without Breaking the Bank

We love the “Mississippi style” flavor for dinner! We love the creaminess and flavor of the sauce, we love the extra zip and zing from the pepperoncini peppers, and I love how easy these are to make in the slow cooker!

Dump all of the ingredients into the slow cooker and then let it take care of cooking.

Prep Time5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 24 pre-cooked frozen meatballs
  • 1 packet Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet gravy mix
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup sliced Pepperoncini peppers
  • 4 Tbsp butter sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  • To your slow cooker insert, add the pre-cooked frozen meatballs. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix, gravy mix, minced garlic, Pepperoncini peppers, and butter (cut into pads). Pour the beef broth over the top.

  • Set the slow cooker on low and cook for 6 hours.

  • Make mashed potatoes, if that’s your preferred side dish. (Homemade mashed potatoes link below.)

  • Serve Mississippi Meatballs over mashed potatoes with side of favorite veggies or salad. Enjoy!
