Notably, the structure has shifted from earlier reporting. Previous rumours had Tottenham discussing a straight permanent deal worth between £74m and £75m, so a loan-with-conditional-obligation at £50m represents a meaningfully different – and cheaper – mechanism, according to KingFut.
