An expert’s view:
“2025 is a vintage that offers value and wines that are rich and intense in the glass yet preserve freshness. Many of the wines are delightful with a modern touch underpinned by a classical dense style.”
“The 2025 growing season presented significant challenges that led to quantities of wine being lower, but quality being high. Heat and drought characterised the year, leading to some of the earliest harvests on record. A timely spell of rain in late August helped ease vine stress and complete ripening. This is a vintage that rewarded precision viticulture and careful winemaking. Overall, another excellent year ending in ‘5’ that deserves serious attention from Irish wine lovers.”
