Nintendo reveals Japan’s best-selling Switch 2 and Switch digital games for July 2026

Nintendo recently shared new data revealing the best-selling games on the Japanese Switch 2 and Switch eShops for July 2026.

On Nintendo Switch 2, Splatoon 3 had a massive debut and it’s no surprise to see it at #1 here. Village in the Shade may also be a hit for Nippon Ichi Software – while it came out at the end of the month, it lands in second.

There are a few other new games as well. One of these is Digimon Story: Time Stranger, which has three different entries because of different editions.

The full lineup of Japan’s best-selling games on the Switch 2 and Switch eShops for July 2026 is as follows:
