Not happy, Jolene.
The censors had to work overtime as Jolene vented her feelings on Courtney and Sev getting “every f***’en Tom, Dick and Harry to help them” finish their bathroom.
Missing out on the win — and a cool $250,000 in appliances — by a single, agonising point had left her understandably salty.
The South Australians didn’t walk away entirely empty-handed, though; Adam pocketed $5000 for being crowned the hardest-working contestant on site. Jolene, ever the supportive partner, immediately brought him back to earth by noting his he has “the styling ability of two rocks.”

The fate of The Block 2025’s unsold homes
Jolene and Adam aren’t happy about Courtney and Sev’s major victory.
Over in House 2, Wyatt — now vindicated from being falsely accused of blowing the budget in week one with a $10,000 reward for his penny-pinching on the bathroom — was equally convinced Jolene and Adam were robbed. He fumed that Courtney and Sev required a small army (including the coveted Cursio brothers) to get the job done. Feeling like chumps for enabling back-to-back wins, Chantel and Wyatt vowed to hoard their trades from here on out.
Now officially Cursio-less, Courtney and Sev were forced to figure out how to win without completely blowing their budget for once. After burning through cash in the opening weeks to secure their dream house and that massive appliance vault, they’re theoretically trying to rein in the spending for master bedroom week.
“Rein in” is relative, of course, considering their “budget-friendly” plans include inlaid carpet, a coffered ceiling, and a fireplace (budget permitting, naturally).
Thanks to the house swap, they also inherited Lisa and Rosco’s pre-designed walk-in robe. Stuck with the layout, Sev wasn’t holding back: “I’m calling it the blush box. It’s a bit too pink.”
The only person saltier than Jolene is Tayla.
Meanwhile, Tayla was nursing her own grudge against Lisa and Rosco. She was utterly incensed that their completely unfinished bathroom scored just one point lower than her own (also incomplete) space.
“I need to speak to someone about this! It’s just a joke,” Tayla snapped. “I’m f***’en fume’n!”
Unbeknown to the rest of the site, Lisa was carrying a huge secret: she’s seven weeks pregnant. The news had her missing her two-year-old son, Lando, more than ever. Not ready to announce it to the others just yet, she turned to the ultimate authority on surviving the trade chaos while expecting: last year’s fan favourites, Emma and Ben.
The seasoned parents (who welcomed their own baby six months ago) hosted the weekly losers’ dinner at the property they’re renting out to this season’s cast.
Emma’s tales of powering through bone-deep fatigue and morning sickness to deliver winning rooms gave Lisa the reality check — and boost — she needed.
Rosco and Lisa share their baby news with Ben and Emma.
Not handling challenges with quite the same grace was Wyatt.
The cause of his tragic downfall? A sore tooth. Naturally, this completely incapacitated him, reducing his daily duties to aggressive wallowing and detailing his excruciating journey to anyone within earshot.
After four long days of insisting dentists were a scam — while somehow stocking up on teeth-whitening kits and toothpicks — he finally caved and went to a clinic, only to discover the tooth was cracked.
Chantel gets on with their master bedroom renovation solo as Wyatt nurses a sore tooth.
His reaction? More dramatic wallowing, drowning his sorrows in a microwave meal, and hitting the gym, leaving poor Chantel to carry the entire renovation on her back.
Again.
