Grand Mirage Bali Overview
Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali is located in Tanjung Benoa, just 20 minutes from Bali’s international airport and right next to Nusa Dua, a secure gated area known for its higher-end resorts. This area is famous for its calm waters, a huge range of watersports and those breathtaking Bali sunrises.
The resort is divided into two distinct sections: the original Main Wing and the Family Paradise Wing, which opened in 2017. Each wing has its own dedicated entrance and check-in area, something to keep in mind when you arrive, as you should let your driver know exactly which wing you are staying in.

The newest highlight at the Grand Mirage Resort is the exciting Lazy River. Stretching 215 metres, it’s the first and longest lazy river of its kind at any resort in Bali. They also offer interconnecting rooms, making them an ideal choice for larger families or friends holidaying together.

New Premiere Ocean
We stayed in the New Premiere Ocean Room in 2025, and it was perfect for the three of us. Featuring a king bed with a separate trundle bed, these rooms combine modern touches with recent renovations. Some rooms also offer interconnecting options, making them ideal for larger families. The rooms sleep a maximum of 4 people. We stayed in room number 4432.

New Premiere Terrace Garden
During our 2025 visit, we visited the New Premiere Terrace Garden Room. Located on the ground floor, these rooms offer lovely views of the lush gardens and provide easy access to the main pool, perfect for families who want convenience and a peaceful garden setting. I love the hammock overlooking the gardens, ideal for reading a book and relaxing.

Final Thoughts on The Grand Mirage Resort
We always enjoy our stays at The Grand Mirage Resort in Tanjung Benoa. There is so much to do, the whole family loves it as they are always entertained!
Which wing would our family choose to stay in after we have stayed in both? Now the kids are over 10 years of age we choose the Main Wing, when the kids are younger it is probably easier at the Family Wing. And let’s be honest; when the kids are younger, the holidays are all about entertaining the kids 😉
