Four weeks ago I was finally back with a beer from a new country. Since then I have been away at work, but I am now back home and ready to tick off another country from the list. Once again thanks to Fredrik for the trade. Hopefully I am not facing another one and a half year gap until the next entry. When it comes to Macau Beer I actually spotted this beer when having a layover in Shanghai earlier this year, but as I did so only hours before our pickup I was unable to tick it of then. As our flight was heading to Saudi Arabia I was unable to bring any with me as well.
The beer is darker than I thought it would be. Very dark golden in colour, almost on the brown side. A shortlived white foam head when poured into the glass. It smells sweet and yeasty. Taste is crisp and malty with a sweet touch before a more bitter finish.
