Omega Infergon is a powerful armoured Fire-type boss found in the large arena above Russet Highlands in Aniimo. Unlike regular encounters, Omega Infergon does not appear simply by waiting at its map location. You must first complete the quest that unlocks the encounter.
Once the boss becomes available, you can challenge it using a team built around its elemental weaknesses. Water and Earth damage are particularly effective, while Fire, Grass, and Ice attacks deal reduced damage.

How to Unlock Omega Infergon in Aniimo

To unlock the encounter, find Sorora, the Mysterious Painter, on the western side of Russet Highlands. Complete her part of the Helmut storyline to restore Pawney’s legend and activate the Omega Infergon encounter.
After you defeat the boss, the encounter becomes available again on a weekly basis.

Omega Infergon is located inside the large arena overlooking Russet Highlands, in the area associated with Crimson Peak Forest.
The boss appears around levels 48 to 49, making this a high-level encounter. The closest fast-travel location is the Twister Peaks Bloom.
Once the Warrior quest is complete, open the map and travel to the Infergon marker. The boss will be available in the arena.

How to Beat Omega Infergon
Omega Infergon can be difficult to fight because of its large hitbox, aerial attacks, and periods where it moves around the arena.
The safest approach is to learn its attack patterns, build BREAK, and save your strongest abilities for its vulnerable phases.
1. Use Water or Earth Damage
Start with Water or Earth attackers to exploit Infergon’s elemental weakness.
Avoid relying heavily on ranged or homing projectile attacks. Infergon’s Gale Charge can reflect incoming flying projectiles during the charge, potentially causing your own attacks to work against you.
Physical and melee attacks, along with attacks that do not rely on projectiles, can make the encounter easier to manage.
2. Attack After Its Flying Breath
Pay close attention when Infergon takes to the air and uses its fire-breath attacks.
After completing a flyby, the boss dives toward the ground and creates an opening when it lands. During this weakened state, it becomes more vulnerable to BREAK damage.
Use this opportunity to focus your attacks on the BREAK gauge.
3. Destroy the Fire Crystallites
Infergon can create fire crystallites that become dangerous when they are about to explode.
When the warning appears, destroy the crystallites to create safe areas and avoid the shock wave that follows.
Ignoring these mechanics can make the arena much harder to navigate, especially while dealing with Infergon’s other attacks.
4. Interrupt the Ultimate With BREAK
BREAK becomes especially important when Infergon begins casting its Ultimate.
Its aerial Hot Breath attack covers a wide area and can apply eight Fire Debuff stacks. Infergon’s trait also deals 30% additional damage against targets carrying at least five stacks.

There is a shared weekly limit for Omega reward chests.
You can claim a maximum of three Omega reward chests per week across all Omega bosses combined. This includes bosses such as Sherro and Tuckin.
Once you reach the weekly limit, defeating another Omega boss will not provide another chest. The game displays a notification confirming that the weekly acquisition limit has been reached.
This means it is worth planning your three weekly Omega claims rather than assuming you can collect unlimited rewards from Infergon.
How to Confirm You Defeated Omega Infergon
The clearest confirmation is the appearance and opening of the Omega chest after the fight. The Warrior quest also updates to show that Infergon has been defeated.
Defeating Omega Infergon is also connected to the evolution requirements for your own Infergon.
How to Evolve Infergon
After defeating Omega Infergon, you can work toward obtaining the Nova-stage Infergon.
The requirements include:
- A Helmwhelp or Jawling with Perfect Potential
- The Aniimo must be level 48
- The required evolution material
- Omega Infergon must have been defeated
There is an important exception involving the Mountain variants. Mountain Jawling and Mountain Helmwhelp cannot evolve into Infergon, as they follow the evolution path toward Mountain Helgon instead.
