
Aniplex of America and DeVuono Releasing are bringing Virgin Punk: Clockwork Girl to Canadian cinemas this month. The project is the first episode of a new series by Yasuomi Umetsu, who had previously created titles like Kite and Mezzo Forte. It had its debut across Japanese theatres in June.
Umetsu directed the episode at Shaft from a script by Yūya Takahashi. Yoshiaki Dewa composed the score. Screenings will also include an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette.
