Totsuki Sheena is not skilled when it comes to using magic. With the news of her roommate killed in battle, Sheena can’t believe that she lost her roommate like that and everyone see this as a normal thing. However, while she grieves, a certain girl came up to her and seems to have an interest in her.

After tiding up her former roommate’s belongings, Sheena is feeling down .

From the look at the beginning of the episode, it really sets the mood of the show overall. Someone basically puts a girl bleeding to death out of her misery. The next day, Sheena, while she struggled to summon her wand, found out the news. The teacher ends up allowing her to be excused from class to clear her former roommate’s belongings.

While Mimi is a cheerful, pink-haired girl, she is all covered in blood.

Orphans make up the student body, as they train to prepare for battles using magic to kill. However, Sheena questions the meaning of this and also that everyone treats it as something normal. That is when she remembered what her roommate said while holding a plushie. Her roommate says Sheena is lucky because she is weak. No wonder Sheena has survivor’s guilt as she finished tidying up her former roommate’s belongings and went to the kitchen to find food.

She seems curious about Sheena, particularly her smell.

The nurse catches Mimi being covered with blood.

Thankfully, she makes two rice balls. While eating them, a cheerful girl covered in blood seemed to have an interest in Sheena, mostly for her smell. She ate both of her rice balls as she is starving and also wonders about the bandage on her cheeks as she takes off her bandages as she freaks out. The bloodied girl shows interest in Sheena’s minor injuries, yet she admits she is not injured at all. Fran, the nurse, eventually came and picked up the blood-covered girl. As expected, the girl doesn’t seem to get along with Fran, as she is told not to interact with other students. Sheena’s scent reminds her of her mother, which is why she is interested in Sheena.

As expected, she transfers into Sheena’s class.

Funny how Mimi is excited to get deployed.

Seiran really thinks Mimi is the ultimate weapon.

The next day, the girl that Sheena met that night, named Kagari Mimi, transferred into Sheena’s class. The funny thing is that she can’t stop thinking about last night, as there are rumors she is the ultimate weapon. Besides paying respects to the people who perished recently, even Ari and Seiran came to have lunch with Sheena and Mimi. Yes, they are even interested in Mimi. That is why there is an announcement for people being selected to prepare for deployment in battle. Mimi acts as if it’s like nothing, as she seems excited as she grabs some bread off the table.

While Mimi is away, Fran had Sheena move Mimi’s stuff into her room. Yes, it has a lot of stuff to move, but it’s funny how Fran sniffed Sheena. Yep, curiosity got to her as Sheena asked about the rumor that Mimi is the ultimate weapon. Well, Fran said Mimi is just Mimi and she will make sure she takes a shower.

No, they are not just kissing, but also healing as well.

After seeing a couple kiss, Mimi decides to give it a try.

Later that night, Sheena saw two girls kissing as Mimi came up to Sheena, as she was curious about the two girls kissing. Well, while they look like they are kissing, but they are restoring each other’s health, but they have to be on the same wavelength for it to be effective. Interestingly, while Sheena couldn’t sleep, Mimi kissed Sheena as she thought it would help Sheena feel better. What she got was the taste of soap and blood, which seems pretty nasty.

Overall, sure, the yuri will not disappoint, but it’s shaping up to be a pretty dark story despite Mimi acting like nothing happened after coming from a deployment as if nothing happened. It should be interesting to see how the relationship between Sheena and Mimi develops from here.
