Jinbe suspects that Gunko is one of the intruders who injured the castle guards, while Nami realizes she is kidnapping the children. Gunko declares herself a “god” and reveals that she plans to take the children to Mary Geoise. Brook then realizes that she is a member of the Knights of God, which Gunko confirms.
Meanwhile, Nami attacks Gunko with Zeus, but Gunko redirects him toward her. Brook shields Nami as Gunko explains that someone discovered the truth about the world’s planned destruction. Usopp blasts Gunko with his Pop Greens, seemingly destroying her upper half, but she regenerates. As Gunko targets Usopp, she reveals that a massive war is coming and that the Giants’ allegiance will greatly affect its outcome, explaining why the World Government wants Elbaph to join them.
Gunko vs The Straw Hats
Nami refuses to believe this could happen while Jinbe calls Gunko and the World Government “cowards. ” Gunko claims she’s following orders but reveals she sees the children as trash, prompting the Straw Hats to call her crazy. Colon steps forward to fight her but she wraps an arrow around his neck and carries him away. Jinbe and Brook attack Gunko, but she uses Aloe to make their attacks hit each other, sending them overboard. She then kicks Nami off the ship before landing a devastating blow on Usopp.
Meanwhile, Sommers contacts Killingham, who has defeated Kiba and Ange using his Min’ei-ka ability to immobilize Ange. Sommers criticizes Elbaph’s communication methods, but Killingham explains that every village and important facility has its own tool. He directs Sommers to a Dengo Mushi, which can transmit his voice across Elbaph. Sommers says he’ll handle it after his fight with Saul, whom he’s surprised to learn survived Ohara’s destruction. Saul tells Robin and Chopper to hide in his hair and save the children before collapsing from his injuries.
Afterward, Sommers refuses to accept that the Giants have become peaceful. He believes they should use their strength as mercenaries for the World Government and resents Harald for changing that.
