BusyCal 2026.3.1 and BusyContacts 2026.3.1

Busy Apps has released BusyCal 2026.3.1 and BusyContacts 2026.3.1, both of which now require macOS 12.4 Monterey or later. BusyCal receives a redesigned Availability Viewer and a powerful new Find and Replace dialog, plus new natural language support for creating recurring events. The update also revises Reminders syncing to sync only the last 12 months of completed tasks to improve performance, adds natural language support in Quick Entry for Japanese, adds keyboard shortcuts to the Date Picker for common dates such as Today and Tomorrow, improves CalDAV sync to detect and apply account setting changes, improves detection of Teams meeting support in Microsoft Office accounts, fixes a bug where changing the end time of a multi-day timed event would also shift the end-date, ensures Move to Time Zone correctly preserves an event’s actual moment in time, and fixes a bug where a blocking event on a Microsoft Graph calendar would replicate itself after sync.

BusyContacts improves Mail Activity imports by detecting and throttling large imports to help prevent the Mail app from slowing down, improves detection of multiple BusyCal installations when fetching calendar events, fixes contact copy and address copy actions to use the same formatted names shown on contact cards, and resolves an issue where editing an automatically created sibling relationship could create duplicate reciprocal relationships. ($49.99 new for BusyCal from Busy Apps or the Mac App Store, free update, in Setapp, 99.9 MB, release notes, macOS 11.5+; $49.99 new for BusyContacts from Busy Apps or the Mac App Store, free update, in Setapp, 55.5 MB, release notes, macOS 12.4+)
