The Master of cat manga is back with a new story on why owning a cat is the best experience in the world. 

Okay, maybe I’m a little biased but it really is the best experience if you love cats.

This latest work is different from all of PANDANIA’s works, as this one-shot is a story of her daily life with her own cat, Necchi. For cat lovers and/or owners, each page will make you go, “Yeah, I can absolutely relate.”

Each action and adventure with Necchi drawn in a way only PANDANIA can illustrate. PANDANIA is being real over her highs and lows with her cat, especially with hilarious results. Wondering if she and Necchi are a perfect fit, if Necchi is getting a proper diet, and trying to figure out how Necchi took over PANDANIA’S entire bed while she slept and forced the confused mangaka to wake up at the foot of the bed. 

Basically it’s a story on how cats run the show and we are forever their servants. There’s even a hilarious part where PANDANIA prays for Necchi to become a nekomata (a form of yokai/demon that cats become if they live past the age of 20). If Necchi becomes a nekomata, they will be together forever. 

Yes, PANDANIA loves her cat THAT MUCH. and it’s pretty adorable. 

Normally when I find pet stories, the pet has already passed and the story is a memorial from the owner about their companion. PANDANIA lets us know that Necchi is alive and had recently stolen her pillow as she wrote her bio in the manga.

Too cute, funny, and goes to show that cat’s gonna cat. 

And PANDANIA is one of the best to show us how to navigate in a cat’s world. I highly recommend Catnaps, Catnaps Everywhere to cat lovers and the cats they serve, er, I mean love.
